Travel Pouch for Military Brushes
Good pouches make good neighbors. This 5" x 8" pouch of sturdy coated nylon keeps your military brush and the items it's packed with from getting in one another's way.
Mason Pearson brushes are an investment and I wanted to protect my large military when I travel, though I do so infrequently. I contacted Tressence, who seemed to be the only source offering a case designed specifically for Mason Pearson brushes, but whose single offering at the time was clearly intended for the handled brushes and too large. The proprietor responded in just a few hours and said he had some pouches he had made for the small pocket handled brushes that turned out to be too big, but my note made him realize they could work for the military brushes. He listed them on the site and I ordered one. The pouch was shipped quickly via Priority Mail, and is reasonably priced. The military brush is a comfortable fit, and the material is indeed a coated nylon which is more rigid than a ditty / stuff sack I might otherwise use. My only wish is that that bag had some structure, or perhaps was a hard case, to give protection against bristles being crushed in transit. I think a custom sized hard plastic case (like a soap box) could give maximum protection while still being compact. I'd love to see Tressence offer that.
