The Popular is the largest of the mixed bristle Mason Pearson models.

Best suited for normal to denser hair of long to extra-long length
8 rings of tufts incorporating boar bristle and nylon
Each tuft contains bristles cut in 2 lengths
- Shorter boar bristles focus on cleaning and polishing the hair cuticle
- Longer "spired" nylon filament in each tuft is stiff enough to reach through thicker hair to collect and distribute the natural oils that add body and shine
Pneumatic rubber cushion regulates the penetration of each tuft to effectively condition the hair and scalp
Overall size is 9 inches by 3 1/8 inches.

Seemed legit

I bought a brush from Tressence and it came quick and looked perfectly fine. As far as the authenticity goes I am not sure how to tell. I directly contacted Mason Pearson and told me they only have a few stockist that actually sell their brushes. However the custumer service was outstanding and they refunded me no problem. I really have no problem with this company or claim their products not authentic. I just don't know enough about their business or Mason Pearson to be sure.

Wonderful brush

I have fine hair but lots of it and the popular brush is perfect. My hair has been shinier and less fly away since using. I bought a pocket boar bristle brush for my purse which is great on the go.

I bought the brush is for my girlfriend as a gift. It is beautiful and works very well. Makes her hair shiny and smooth and honestly well worth the hefty price. Also it was surprisingly fast shopping.
